Remote Sensing:
Remote sensing is the acquisition of information of an object without making physical contact with it. In our case this is achieved using information obtained from onboard UAV cameras and sensors. Combining the information of our different sensors we can determine object properties such as color, size, temperature or reflectance which allows us to categorize and identify multiple phenomes.
CATUAV has the know-how and experience for:
- Integrating remote sensing specific sensors in our UAV systems.
- Performing application specific radiometric calibration of those sensors.
- Developing remote sensing and data processing software for specific applications.
