08 May CATUAV integrates new hyperspectral camera manufactured by RIKOLA

CATUAV will have the privilege of being one of the first UAV operators to test the new hyperspectral camera made by RIKOLA Finnish manufacturer. Developed by VTT and RIKOLA, this is the first hyperspectral camera specially designed for UAV remote sensing applications. Thanks to the high spectral resolution (10 nm between 500 and 900 nm) it allows to perform a variety of remote sensing projects that could not be addressed with the limited spectral resolution of the sensors available since today. This new camera will be tested during the month of June in collaboration with the CSIC in the framework of the MESTRAL project.
