CATUAV selected to participate in ESA’s SAFEDEM program

Economic and social recovery in extensive areas of the globe that been affected by armed conflict is held back because of the danger posed by landmines. The European Space Agency (ESA) has launched the SADA (Space Assets for Demining Assitance) program that aims to apply the latest remote sensing technologies to facilitate mine clearance work. CATUAV has been selected by Radiolabs consortium to participate in this program and next October will conduct a flight campaign in various theaters of war in the Balkans.
